Hey all -- I have some more pics to put up on the work i done to the bike. It seems like there is always something to keep me busy on this bike! Having fun doing it.

When I got my bike it had no battery..the worst smelly gas inside the tank.

I pretty much done everything to it....new barrett clutch springs..plugs..new gas a much needed oil change and rewired pretty much the whole wiring. With a bike this old I went thru top to bottom and making sure I could ride it safely on the streets.

The bike runs great and is super quick with new clutch springs in her. I need to replace the tires and replace the throttle cable soon the cable is kinda separating.

I have driven it around and get a thumbs up from the previous owner :D and get looks when ever i take her around town. I love this bike as it is nimble and hella fun. I always come home with a smile on da face. ok here is some pics.

Later
Dave

looks good man
Did you have to re-jet or anything for those pod filters or is it running well?

Hi Arsey- No adjustments for re-jet and IMO she runs better than the stock setup.

Update...I got the mirrors installed and they are attached to the ends of the handle bars and I got the gauges mounted back up.

Ill take some pictures also.

bike is very clean, Love it the way it is. Maybe make a couple of changes, but she wants to be ridden.

booya!

that thing is clean! did you make the cafe seat yourself?

Yes this falls under the $ 50 buck mod.

what I did was remove the old seat cover and then took a hack saw and cut the foam down to the pan were you see the back part. That is the original foam I left in the back. I remove the foam were i sit and went to the craft store and picked up new foam and some nice leather/vinyl covering and used 3m spray glue onto the foam pad and back side of the new covering and just laid it down and wrapped it under the seat and use the original hooks to keep it tight.

Think I spent 30 bucks and took me an hour or two to finish it all.

Feels good also to sit on and the back hump keeps me a lil more secure when I take off.

Hey brother, I was just saying to make your changes if you want to but she looks ready to ride. I should have been more clear, sorry. I really like the pods and bars though and that tank is so sweeeeeet. The bike is so clean and unmolested. Real nice!

Hey its cool..having a second set of eyes helps sometimes if I miss something important.

I am un decided if I should leave the covers on or off for the carb area?

where'd ya get the mirror? I bought a Triumph/BSA style, but I'm thinking of splurging for a small roundy. How much was it?

They shipped from Canada but were here in like 2- 3 days. I put them on my bike and they look great.

I need to get off my ass and take some pics and show n tell..I seen a few cafe bike here that have them.

they were 9.99 plus 12.99 shipping and were pack very professionally.
