Tim the color scheme and design come from the MINI I have and the MINI I want. I have a pepper white with red stripes and my bike will have the same style stripes. The MINI I want is black eye purple and silver.

Designing the seat has been great fun, can't wait for it to be finished to see the final product. I am very lucky to have my own personal welder.

Just to throw it out there, that if any one lives in the greater Cleveland area and wants help hammering out a pan shoot me a pm and we can work something out. Oh and I am the guy in the pics.

Got another present today. It is so handy to have a toolmaker.

Very excited!

He is a journeyman tool and die maker. I drive a school bus. Together we own Grey Feather Toys and manufacture toys for parrots.

Went for a little ride tonight on a friends HD. Not my cafe but as it is not done it is better then not riding at all. Then set around talked about bikes and drank some beer. Tomorrow to the bone
yard to look for a couple of parts. Then back to work on the bike.

Went to cycles r us bone yard. Looking around and started talking to a guy there to sell a 350. They didn't want to give him much. Told him what my plans are and he said make me an offer. I said how about $75, he said I am feeling nice today make it $50 and I will deliver it to your friends house. On the way to drop it off.

Going today to pick it up from my friends house. I am excited it has numerous parts I need. I couldn't believe the deal the guy gave me. He said he would rather have it be used then sit in a bone yard. I happened to be at the right place right time.

I keep looking at the SS and I think I would go that way if I were powder coating the rims but with painting them I am thinking steel. It all comes down to $$

hey great to see a W & H team building together ;D just a note be carefull with painting rims, its more prone to chipping especially when tyres are getting fitted, powder coating really is a good idea for rims for long term longevity. just my 2cents, looking forward to following youbuild....
