1971-ish CB750 with GSXR Front End and other bits

a stock cb750 is 491lbs wet, a cb550 is 423lbs and ive shed enough weight on this bike to be roughly about 400lbs. Maybe just under 400lbs. Ill weigh it when done. The additional bracing needed in the rear will only be needed if i get serious about dragging a knee with this bike.

wider tires and more hp = higher loads

Pfffff no. We don't need your logic in this thread.

Really though has anyone seen someone snap, crack, or otherwise damage a swing arm on these vintage bikes? Im curious

you should thank me , you don't have any idea how things work apparently
the issue will be flexing which leads to shitty handling even instability, it is not likely it would break before it spits you off

how do you know that my intent wasn't to build a bucking bronco?

I am glad I joined dotheton. My whole reason for joining was play dumb and annoy xb33bsa

XB has a very good point about that swingarm you fitted.

Ft sticky tires out much more side load and twisting force on a swinger and it will twist. It will need to be braced to stiffen it up.

I also have a spare kawasaki zrx1200 swing arm that I may use on this project that would be better suited if I choose to add some bracing on the back end.

I like this. I am doing something similar with my CB750 build. I was also looking at the 550 swing arm, but I am curious as to how you would consider bracing it as you mentioned above.
