Alright so I am now moving onto the rear shocks and looking to replace me old ones for a new pair. Only problem is I dont exactly know which measurements to go by. I saw some where that my 72 CB500 Four K0 requires 340mm/ 13.25in shocks for the rear...Other web sites like DCC have a wide variety of length and styles but all the measurements are throwing me off. Also, which one should i go for? Hydraulic or Gas? Im thinking Gas would be my best bet to prevent any head aches in maintenance. Please let me know if any one has info on the measurements. If any one has a CB500, what are you using for your rear suspension set up?

???

There is no 500 F, only K.

Stay with stock length.

Call Hagon. If you have 200 bucks, buy the "twin" shocks. If you have 300 bucks, buy a set of 2810's.

They will set your shocks up for you after asking you some questions.

Thanks mlinder! I had no idea about this company till you mentioned it. I took a look at their website and other forums ive read seem to mention them as well. Ill send an email their way to see which ones they recommend for my bike specifically.

You aren't understanding how they work.

You tell them what bike you have, how much you weighs, how much your girlfriend weigh, how much shit you carry and how you ride. Then they send you ones that are correctly set up for you and your bike.

That's why you need to call them.

Yea I got it. They emaild me back saying exactly that. I'll call them up to specify everything. Thanks again.
