Bought this bike about 2 weeks ago from an ol'dude who didn't know what he had, It fire'd right up, sounded great, no knocks, no weird noises, clean oil.. guys asking 1000.. so i offered him 500, he says 6 we agree to meet in the middle at $550.00! I was so stoked but had to hold it in. I had been looking for one for a while.. its almost hard to find one that someone hasn't already tinkered with, here he is..

Things Ive done and need to be done..

Brown vintage seat
4-1 Exhaust an Natural wrap
Fork boot gators
Replaced both side covers and emblems
6" Headlight and Ears
Clip on bars
Aluminum upper triple tree
2" Speedo and Mount
Chocolate grips
11.5" rear shocks
Black tail light and tag holder
Gold o-ring chain

TIRES ....to be decided?

Thinking about beefin the tires up... not sure the largest size I could fit under there..? any thoughts?

What size it has now.

Nicely done. Stick with stock size tires with modern construction and tread. Painting the rims black will make them look more substantial without sacrificing the handling.

This is very good advice.. Couldn't agree more.. The bike looks very nice man, well done.

Looks good, front suspension looks bone crushing and possibly might gouge your eyes out, but it looks good! Where'd you find that seat? I like!

I'm thinking the triple top is missing......................

Cool looking though................I like it.

It looks kinda funny without the triple top, but other than that absolutely gorgeous! Kinda jealous actually. Makes me wish I went with a CB over a XV. Kudos sir! 8)

nice transformation,
i am finishing the same bike and the style is roughly the same.
keep us posted.
ps do not make a move without the 3T.

When I posted up about sticking with stock tire sizes to maintain handling, I hadn't seen all the photos and didn't realize it had been 'slammed' about 5 inches, which effectively eliminates what little handling the CB750 had in the first place ;)

So go ahead - stick some 5 inch wide squared off Firestones on it :)

It is a nice looking bike, but don't go into any corners at 50 MPH. I'd say get a fork brace on it, but given the suspension setup that's a moot point.

Yep, that top tree is kinda needed mang. At a glance is long on cool.

Less is more, essé!!

More of what exactly is irrelevant, holmes.

Da fuck? Is that the clutch cable dragging on the ground? This is a joke right? As reported in The Onion... Right? Yes?

You have a better suggestion? Gaw, you old fogies are all about being practical and making things work. Thank Gaia that you racist old timey rock-beaters are dying out so us young progressive types can enjoy building stuff that's actually about AESTHETICS and like literally being original, per sé.

Haysoos H. christo, I do NOT have the time to deal with this right now. I'm going to hang out with like-minded new-age non-conformists so we can all stroke eachother while agreeing that crystals are the cure, moccasins are like hugs for your feet, and rainbow-colored wool accessories are the pinnacle of huwomankind's creative outlet.

All that said this project is well done, five minutes in the corner to think about what you've perpetuated.

This can't be serious. He seems to be pretty good at photoshop so maybe theres a "badum tiss" coming up soon.

Stalk it bro. Fuckin Stalk it.

Want to clarify, when I said it looks good I meant it LOOKS good. No way I'd get on it with the suspension that low (though the wires, cables, and lack of pipe and top triple clearly indicate that it is not finished)

STILL....curious about the seat?

This bike is far from rideable.. Well not that far! ;)

Hahaha seriously tho! The forks look like they could kill me! Ha I don't plan on keeping it that low in the front, although I did put 11.5" shocks in the rear.. So I'll try to sit it as level as possible.

I'm currently waiting on the headlight brackets and headlight before I install the upper triple tree an speedo. The exhaust isn't on, cables haven't been shortened, I still have a long way to go! I'll keep you posted for sure!

Heres the seat! http://4into1.com/seats/
