1972 Jawa 250 Californian - Rust Machine

I've saved almost half of what I need for the rims. So I figured I'd better finish up the wiring

Bullet connectors for all the handlebar switch cabling.

The bike didn't have a front brake switch initially, so I ran a cable in the loom and soldered it in parallel with the rear brake switch.

And here are my professional notes and how the loom and handlebar switch wiring works.

So glad this thing is finally moving again.

Chain links removed. Chain installed. Yes, I made the newbie mistake of not leaving a path to let the chain pass through. Rear wheel and shock removed. Chain installed. Lesson learnt. All good.

Stamped the new compliance plate to match the old one I wrecked when I drilled the pop rivets from it.

Petcock, fuel filter and line installed.
Made and installed clips to hold headlight into headlight shell.

Drained oil and put copper washer on sump bolt and reinstalled. Had a leak and hope copper washer will fix everything

It lives.
