1972 Suzuki GT 550

Slow and steady wins the race, bottom end is put back together, frame is 3/4 stripped of paint, all balls tapered bearings ordered for the race front end.. I'll get some pics up when its a roller! Hopefully one with and engine in it, maybe the bottom end anyways.. ;D

Oh, talked some of the side case covers offa the 79 parts bike, rotten, possibly submerged in water at some point in time... I'll grab some pics of that tomorrow..

Nice work so far! Love the bike shed too. Unfortunately you do not have the 4LS anchor up front.

Bike shed is getting crowded these days, there is 4.5 bikes in there now without the 550, so its moved to the basement, ::) I'm not complaining ... at all... I'm suprised my wife is being as tolerant as she is, i mean really... I have my frame and swing arm in the living room "so the paint can cure" or so i can stare at them ;D ;D

I'm looking at some reassembly to commence tomorrow, I want to have a rolling chassis and hopefully the bottom end of the engine hanging inside it.. We'll see how it goes..

Rolling chassis and bottom end bolted into the frame... Top end to follow, still have to hone the cylinders and order some piston circlips so i'm a little bit away from anymore photographical progress, I have lots of parts to clean and paint though... :D
