Hey there! Not sure if you remember after all this time, but where did you get those bronze bushings? My CL175 project is at a standstill until I find some. Hell, at this point I'd take anything that fits...

Thank you, man. I re-read the past posts on this project and found the part # that Theboxrules posted. Thank the gods of speed! Ordering 6 of 'em today.

Another update! I got the engine mounted in the frame, exhaust collars cleaned with Bar Keeper's Friend, soda blasted and cleaned/rebuilt carbs, polished intake runners and wired up the starter. The headlight has been mounted and two new turn signals. I also replaced hardware along the way with OEM bits where I couldn't clean the originals. The foot bar is now mounted (not pictured) and the springs for the foot pegs were cleaned up with an overnight soak in BKF. I also found a CB200 right hand switch on eBay and took it apart to refurbish as my original was shot. The headers were scuffed, cleaned and painted with High Temp paint. Enjoy the pics!

I'm going to have to get me one of those scotch brite ball things from HF. Pretty cool.

I'm signed on, man.

So yesterday I ordered some slim retro style shocks and mini-Norton Commando style exhaust for this project. I'm going to my reliable source DCC for these goodies! Can't wait to get them in!

So the new shocks and exhaust came from DCC! I also cleaned up the rear brake pedal, brake switch, shifter and kick starter. Enjoy!

Ok friends. I have been doing a full court press on getting my bike done. I was asked to submit my bike to the first annual Garage Brewed motorcycle show in Cincinnati which was this past weekend. (www.garagebrewed.com). It was awesome! So, I am posting some photos of the work done since my last post. I just need to finish the front fender and wire up the bike and try starting her up!

Drilling adjustment holes in the exhaust hangers.

I used the leftover pieces from the universal exhaust hangers to make rear turn signal brackets.

Rear fender is bobbed, painted and after market tail light and license mount installed.

Air boxes cleaned up.

Detailing left hand switch.

Finally, here she is at the show this past weekend with a few photos of the venue.

And my beautiful wife....

That show looked like a blast. Tim really pulled it off. Read the review on Motorcycle USA site. Nice work on the bike.

It was awesome! The brewery had their biggest sales day since opening. Next year will be bigger for sure. It was fun to be a part of the first event and thank you!
