Are those the passenger peg mounts where your footpegs are? They look so...heavy.

Everything else looking nice though. I really enjoy that tank.

Yeah I'm not a fan of that hulking piece of metal, but it also holds my exhaust so I may let sleeping dogs lie. I'm a big fan of the tank myself. I think it's gonna need a killer paint job to show off its side contours.

Drill some holes in it and call it a day :D

What's the tank off?

Same size or go from smaller to larger? Like the idea. It's the stock 350f tank actually. Got lucky I guess!

Smaller to larger probably? Or larger to smaller! Maybe sketch some circles on there with a crayon or something and see how it looks?

And yep that's an attractive stock tank. I had to beat the crap out of mine to earn the dents.

Gotta get me a crayon haha.Too bad you're not local I'd ask you to make me a seat to match!

More goodies ordered today, among them a few seats. I'm tired of ordering things one at a time and going through trial and error, so I figured I'll just do what I did with my headlight so I have some selection. I also found a good powdercoater nearby for the frame. I think I may be able to get things finished within 60 days or so.

A little early but I took a picture of the growing family since I needed to clean out the garage.

And in a recent turn of events, went with a different seat. I absolutely hate the cover, will have a new one made, but it fits the bike well. Also the back is a little close to the seat, need to shave half an inch off to have the correct clearance for the rear suspension travel. Very doable.

Very good looking bike man. Well done.

Thank you! Question for anyone who can answer. I am making a new wiring harness, found a good source for the proper bullet connectors, but I need a good source for either wrap, or shrink tube for it to clean it all up. Anyone have a preferred source?

Found a nice wire harness wrap, got the correct bullet connectors, in line fuse holder, power toggle switch (no keys here), and sorted through the harness. It amazing how few wires are needed when the bike is stripped down. Since I only run a tach, no status lights, no signals, and no brake switches, I really just have to power the headlight and taillight. For those who are curious yes the brake light still works, I use a g sensor to tell the light to come on. A nice added feature is if you slow down by engine braking, the brake light still comes on even if brakes aren't applied.

Additionally I did a final fitment on the electronics tray, have to weld it in now. I'm happy to say a tarozzi front fork brace has been added, even though they don't list one for the bike. I just took some measurements and found they have one that fits just fine. Same one wil work for you 350 guys, not sure if that's been discovered before.

Alright, so the last items have been ordered. Should have a running bike within a week. I make a crude wiring harness, once the coils and digital ignition get here I will finalize it. Other than that, I just have the engine paint, tank paint, and frame powercoating left.

Do you have a link for the fork brace? I don't know if I'm going to swap front ends or keep the stock one on my 350.

There ya go.

On a side note, I just freed up cash for refinishing everything for the final product. So once she runs in a day or 2, I can get everything out for that.
