1973 Honda CB350G K5 Flasher Relay

Dr.Chris

Kelevra chillin' in the sidecar of my 73 CB350G
Where do I find t on the bike? And where can I buy a new one?

Thanks,
Christopher

If it's like most, it will be under the left sidecover (careful removing those - if it's stiff spray a little WD40 on the rubber grommets holding it on).

It will be a little cylinder shaped thing with 2 leads on it most likely. You can buy replacements at Canadian Tire for a few bucks.

Get manuals for your bike - including wiring diagrams etc. They're out there - check our manuals section and Google.

Actually, on the 350 the signal relay is under the tank near the ignition switch. You need to lift the tank to get at it.

This is correct. I just got a new one for my 350... I had to search high and low and I finally found the same as the stock one here...

The guy shipped fast... no complaints... just like the stock 30yr old one.

Um, so how do I lift the tank?

I have gotten mine off without lifting the tank, the flasher is held in by a small rubber mount, it slips off teh metal tang near the ignition switch.

Not to hard to replace.

Yeah... I took mine out and replaced it without jacking with the tank... it's easy. Take all of 3min to replace. Just look next to your ignition switch with a flashlight... you'll see it.

I ordered two from that eBay seller. I'll let evryone know how the job went.

Thanks,
Christopher

The guy was good... sent it fast and it was just like the stocker. You shouldn't have any problems.

Let us know.

Yes, any 12V relay will work. I use the cheapo ones from the auto parts store.
