Hey guys,

My name is Chuck from ATL, GA and this is my first post here on DTT.

I picked up a 1973 RD350 this weekend from one of my friends who found it for me. Got it for a good price and am looking to restore it.

Engine has great compression but is missing parts. This being my first RD I can't say that I really know what all is is missing other than the obvious parts.

If any of you have any spare stock parts for a 1973 RD350 I'd be glad to buy them from you!

Looking forward to building this bike and getting it back to it's former glory. Looking to go completely stock with this one!

This is the list I have compiled thus far:

Wiring harness (on the way)
Headers (recovered!)
Side covers/ Oil reserve
Air box
Foot Pegs
Shifter Lever
Caliper
Master cylinder / Brake line
Clutch Lever/ Cable
Throttle Tube/ Cable
Speedo and Tach / Cables for both
Front fender
Triple tree cover
Fork ears
Headlight
Front Turn Signals

If I am missing anything please help me add it to my list!

Here are a few photos of the bike. I am going to update it as I go along, but I just want to get things listed before I start taking it apart.

Thanks guys looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Chuck

Hey guys just a quick update. I finally got some parts in the mail and looking forward to getting them all in the right place.

Got a nice airbox, complete wiring harness, battery box, and some foot pegs.

I have some leads on some other parts. My plan thus far is to get the parts in and put it all together as a complete bike then tear it all apart and rebuild it from there.

I hope to have some photos up soon.

Little Update

Got the bike out and cleaned her off a little bit. I got a wiring harness in with a battery box with the rectifier and regulator. Unfortunately the battery box is incorrect as well as everything on it. The connects do not match the stock wiring diagram at all.

So the question I am left with is what battery box do I have and what do the parts go to. Seems to be Yamaha because it matches the wiring color codes but doesn't have the proper connections.

*side note.

If I have specific technical questions I'm guessing there is another page to ask those on.

Anyways, here are a few photos of what I have maybe someone can help identify what it is off of.

Also I am in the market for a good battery box as well as a rectifier and regulator.
