This is what I started off with. Always wanted the six speed twin. After having a 400f with a six speed, I was spoiled. This bike was actually sitting in an old wood floor store that someone had turned into a man cave.
Mock up begins. The brake light is actually an aircraft beacon used on small Cessna, Pipers and such. I wanted to incorporate my daily job of being an A&P Mechanic.
The actuall rear fender of the 360 would not work the way I wanted it too. So I used the front fender of a CB750 for my rear inner fender. Engine tear down had started. The cam chain tension service bulletin was done and no failed tension bars were found in the sump or slinger. Thats a good start.
After several shake down runs and frequent tuning. This machine is a joy to ride. I'm still looking into getting Mikuni VM30 carb's in the near future. The bike runs great but cross winds and the lack of airboxs make it tricky for reliability.
This build profile was quick and easy, being picture heavy. But their was some trials and tribulation during several builders block.
