well guess ill start my thread now but bike probably wont be finished untill mid next year as im broke.Got it out of a barn here locally from a retired sheriff for 190$. Its in pretty rough shape and hasnt ran in 20 years. Planning on doing matte black powder on the frame,hubs,hoops,swingarm,etc.Going to go threw the motor,clipons,and rebiuld everything. Not sure what to do about a frame hoop in the rear as i dont have a welder i might just have to pay to get one welded in?I want to go with a somewhat stock look so i want the tank and seat to be the same( i like how the tank shows age).Not sure what to do about the airbox and side cover tho.Should i keep them or loose em for some filter pods?? well heres some pics of what i got so far...

Polish up those caps and those carbs will literally look like new!

thanks guys!! i actually just got a call from a friend of mine saying his dad has a z1000 and another smaller kawisaki from the 70s for super cheap!! man if its a z1 or z1000 i may have to put this project on hold, we will see tonight when i get the pics
