The front fender is complete, so I installed and sured up the front end. I also purchased a round axle mount license plate bracket from Dime City and it looks pretty cool.

The build brings us to today, 8/27/11. I fabricated the battery mount, which will be located under the seat hump. I wired up to test and so far everything works. Lights, horn, front blinkers, and the starter turns over. I am not getting a spark to the plugs, so the diagnosis begins. It could be the coil or points. I will start with those first. I will remove the mounts next and spray paint flat black, as to not leave any metal bare and re-install. I should have the seat and tank back this week. Once I have the seat in place I can neaten up the wiring underneath. I will update as soon as I have them in place.

That's the exact scheme I want for my paint, except high gloss red stripes.

Did you paint it yourself?

Thanks guys. It's finally all coming together!!! OpTiCz, one of my good friends owns an auto body repair facility. I came up with the paint scheme and taped up the stripes and had him professionally paint the sheet metal and seat in his paint booth. The rest of the entire bike is powder coated Matte Black, so everything matches. This bike should be show quality when completed.
