1975 CB 360T update

Re: 1975 CB 360T header clamps alloy

Anybody ever heard of these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970s-Honda-CB250-360G-Cappellini-pair-of-exhaust-pipe-clamps-in-special-alloy-/360476123983?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53ee0d234f

They look to be pretty bad-ass 8)

Update: we painted top triple-tree clamp, new handlebar clamps, and headlight bucket (will add pics tonight). Installed new petcock and fuel lines with filters. Got a bunch of parts in, including turn signals, handlebars from moose racing (these look pretty awesome for the money), shorty mufflers (need clamps), grips, and just bought some CL headers off fleebay ($90 shipped-- not too bad). Turn out the CL pipes that came with the bike (which are in amazing shape) are for a 1969 cb 350. Might see if we can use the heat-shield off of it and then sell the pipes.

Re: 1975 CB 360T header joint collars question

Finished the heat-painted and wrapped scrambler pipe and have a question about the joint collars. What direction do the go? It seems they mount the best with the flared ends next to the header clamps, however when I tighten them down there is a gap between the header clamp and the engine. Is this normal?

Got some work done over the weekend. Exhaust is finished and got the rear sets mounted. New petcock on tank and mounted the front turn signals. We are thinking of doing a flat-tracker type of seat that is thin and flat. Going to swap out the tires for some dual sport knobbies. We are also trying to decide what to do with that front fender... :-\
