1975 CB400F forks

I just bought a 1975 CB400F, clear title and runs (YAY!)... i've been wanting one for a hot minute.

problem is, it has some hideously long front forks on it!

I've got oodles of cb360 stuff laying around, and didnt know if the forks were the same size for an easy swap or if i could swap the triple tree or what.

any ideas?

(i would look myself but am not picking up the bike until later)

Hi! I'm new to this party so I don't know shit from shortcake, but I DO know that there is a fork tube size chart here http://www.ohiocaferacers.com/OCRTubeSizes.pdf and if your 400's tubes are the same diameter as the 360 then they'd fit into the same set of triple clamps... alternately there's a stem size chart here http://www.ohiocaferacers.com/OCRStemSizes.pdf which would let you see if you could just swap on the whole front end...
