First post on this site, my brother directed me here as he has a couple build threads going on also. My Projected started 2 Years ago while searching for an airhead. I found a clean R90/6 in Chicago and made the drive to pick it up.
Snapped this pictures before loading it up on the truck to bring her home.

The motor was really dirty as it sat

I took a wire brush and carb cleaner to the entire shell of the motor to get a nice clean surface, I decided I wanted to do something a little different so I sprayed the entire engine black.

I rode the bike for 1.5 years like that. Then for this winter I need to make some changes. Last night I installed a set of low bars and nixed the large factory mirrors.

That is as far as I got last night. I will update this thread with more pictures as progress continues. I wont be doing any chopping to the frame, and any thing I change on the bike will be reversible. But I will be making many updates on this over the next few months. Hope you enjoy.

Not to much to update, finished the bars though, put the grips back on and installed all the controls on to the bars. Got to ride it with the new bars and really liked the feeling of it.

Considering once I get a new seat for it removing the fenders all together. Not sure yet.

I am still torn between doing a seat like this;

or one with more of a brat style to it like this;

Bike looks great, especially with those new bars! That brat pic is niiiice and definitely gives me a lil inspiration form y r80!

With the clubman bars, I'd stick with the more traditional 'bump' cafe seat. The money's no object approach would be to order up a new Corbin, but you might find a 2nd hand one on eBay.
