All new wiring using a 30 amp relay in conjuction with the honda factory ignition switch. It keeps the super coild and electronic ignition from running down the battery. The ignition switch has too much current drop.

beautiful...
is the frame painted or powder-coated?
love the engine stand conversion...your idea?
I'm stealing it...
The frame is painted, urethane through an HVLP. Its pewter silver with some extra flake mixed in. The flakes really pop in the sun; not bass boat crazy but its not subtle either. The stand is easy, just two pieces of angle iron bolted to the original mounting plate, but you have to trim the angle iron around the clutch housing on the right side.

pic of the paint in the sun, but it really doesnt do it justice.

I finished polishing up all the bits only to discover I had forgotten the sprocket mount.

Pic of the gauge mount I made out of aluminum. I couldn't bring myself to pay $25 for something I can make from a scrap laying on the shelf.

I can't help but notice that on the front wheel the spokes are laced over, under but on the rear wheel they are all under, did you do this intentionally and is it safe?

The only spoke kits available to lace a 16 inch drop center wheel are all inside. But the kit I took off was from the 70's and if has an outside/ inside arrangement. They're actually stronger because it doesn't have as much shearing force on the spoke head. The old school outer spokes look like a J. I've never purchased a bike that at least one wasn't broken.

Down off the lift. I was hoping to have it finished for the Cafemoto Orlando anniversary ride. We'll see......
