Monkey see monkey do is all i see now days!
I just got my emgo pod filters . Any one out there already go threw the rejetting process? I just want to save some time by asking what jets ended up working for you ?i have the stock pipes keep the in mind. Thanks threw your headackes you can help some one benefit !!

Stript,

Did you get any feedback regarding rejetting? I am in the same boat that you were in in spring. I am searchign high and low for any information I can get to hone in on where to start.

Post up if/when you get a chance.

We need a sticky on EMGO filters. They are probably the worst thing you co do to a bike to make performance worse IMHO. There are some good individual filters out there and all of them are a PIA to get jetting right on a CB360. Short pipes and no mufflers make it even harder to jet.

Contact PJ and ask him nicely if he can fit a set of his Air Corrector jets to your carbs.

scrambler i have no info. Every one down talked the emgo filters, and sugested the K&N filters. I just ran my emgos kept the jetting stock, i did use the K&N filter oil witch helped the filters out. I had the carbs preaty close with the emgos i would just have to feed the carbs some throttle at idle from time to time.

It will depend on elevation in conjunction with modded exhaust and intake setup. I am at sea level, with a two in one and pods. I started with 112 secondaries for a starting point, but I am in the process of tuning the carbs so I have no real concrete evidence of whether that is too rich or lean just yet.

I just went up to 105s when I put pods on, put on 110 and was way to rich mid range. With 105s it's still a little lean in the top end but I usually don't redline it, usually.

CB360
This is what I have found in 20+ yrs of messing with this motor
All the information is for bikes operated BELOW 2,000 ft elevation

Below 4,000 rpm, it really doesn't matter what filters you use, stock filters don't restrict airflow at low rpm

4,000 to 6~7,000 rpm it will either be right to lean with slight change in secondary main-jet (+2.5~5 )

6~7,000 to redline (or above) really lean if jetted for mid-range

Jetted correctly for 'top end', the mid-range will be so rich bike will fall flat (mid range 9~10:1 fuel air ratio with 110 secondary main-jet)

110 secondary main is actually too small but doesn't hurt things too bad as long as your not trying to hold high rpm.

107.5 is too small and will cause overheating

New air correctors (if you have screw in type) will 95~99% fix problem
There are a few other modifications I do to make stock carbs 'better' to run with pods but I'm not giving the information away free (I'm not selling the info either, but, I can fix your carbs ;) )
