Hi All!
For your consideration.....$5200 or near offer for 2 of my bikes!

I'm "rationalising" my toy collection.

The CB is a low miles, rust free original paint in stock form bike. The tank has a few minor scuffs and one ding. Runs OK on choke, sputters and dies eventually when choke is off- carbs need a good synchronization, if I didn't suck at carb balancing the bike would run fine, I'm sure. New brake pads and tires (not installed yet), new fluids, air cleaner, points and plugs. Original seat cover in good condition, as are the mild steel fenders. Fuel tank was cleaned and "sloshed" with that plastic liner material. All lights, signals and horn work. Side covers present and in great shape as well. Original 4 into 4 exhaust, though the baffles inside have turned to dust and a few small holes were patched (sounds real good, actually). Original owners manual. Timing set "by the book", chain adjusted as well. Rims are straight and appear to be fine. I was thinking of a "cafe-up" for his bike but, frankly, I think it is just too good to take a rattle can of flat black paint to. Buy it and prove me wrong!

The NS has been with me for 4 years, in which time it has been restored almost completely. It has a pretty fair paint job in Honda Performance Red. The bodywork is not original but WAY better than when I acquired the bike. It needs a pair of tires (IMO, $222), a new windscreen ($69), and the horn just stopped working (?)- the trip meter doesn't work, never has since I've owned it. Mechanically excellent; when finished in 2005 it had New rings, pistons, bearings (except bottom end), gaskets, rubber, fuel cock, fork seals/ fluid, brake fluid, pads, discs, cans repacked, jugs welded and replated, carbs rebuilt, reeds (she's a 2 stroke), pipes sand blasted and powdercoated, clutch, plugs, etc, etc, etc. With the bike goes a spare parts package that includes another set of new pistons, 2 sets of rings, a rebuilt crank with spare crank parts as well, new set of top & bottom end bearings, conrods, decals, gasket set.....I think that's about it. Oh, has the single seat cowl too. Check www.ns400r.co.uk for a run down on this most awesome ride. Eminently suitable to bitch up as a street fighter if you're so inclined.

Email me at evilincorporated@rogers.com for pix as my picture posting skills on forums suck worse than my carb balancing skills. Let's try to avoid the nasty lowball offers if at all possible, I'm a reasonable fella and will listen to ressonable offers.

Oh my, maybe not such a wicked deal, eh?

This may be the wrong site for the NS I guess, but it is a kick arse site none the less!

WOW.. Thats a pretty clean bike!!..
Good luck with the sale!...

Where are you located?

I'm just up the road, outside Barrie in Shanty Bay. I live on "Shanty Bay road" one of this provinces' more scenic roads to ride on. Maybe not "top ten" but close to it.

The more I look at that bike the more I think it needs to be bitched up into a cafe racer, maybe I should just keep it.

Yeah that 550 looks sweet. I'd want to keep it too.

And the NS 400R is crazy... only ever riden that bike in Tourist Trophy for PS2, hah.

Did you paint it red? Maybe it'd fetch more with the factory sticker kit...

Yeah.. You should keep it!!.. ;D Sell off the mid-80's stuff!!...

Sweet bikes, too bad you're in the North Pole (relatively speaking-I encountered a snowflake today and tripped!) ;D The NS has always been on my list of bikes to own. If you wanna come down for SXSW Music Festival in amonth.....??? later, Tory

The NS is sold, it goes to it's new home next weekend! Buyacka!

On my way back from dropping the NS off I'll be picking up a 06 Mini Cooper S, should be a nice car to go with the CB550K!

Nice! My wife wants a Mini. Where are you picking it up? I'm considering a trip to the US to buy one. The new Clubman starts at $26K up here, and $20K in the US. Rediculous. If I could find a nice used one up here I'd probably jump on it.

It's at Ajax Mazda, and it's an 05, my fat fingers must've hit the "6" key!

Heads up on the potential US trip; BMW USA are being absolute scumb@gs about the recall & conforming discharge letters, charging OVER $1000!! Plus, BMW Canada charges you nearly the same amount I hear to register the warranty here. Plus RIV charges almost $300 to register the car with the Feds AND you still pay taxes on your sale amount. At the end of the day it is unlikely that you'll save much $$, and you'll have a US car that may or may not be worth the same $$ as a Canuck one on resale.

If it sounds like I looked into it, well, that's because I did. I was going to buy an Arizona or Texas car, but it didn't seem to be worth it. Guess the government is more interested in keeping the manufacturers happy, even though it screws the little guy who is just trying to save some cash. Pricks.

If you're at all thinking of a used Mini I suggest going to look at the cheapest dog of a used one first (troll the Steeles avenue/ Kingston Road/ north Etobicoke "dealers") to get an idea as to what a bad one looks like, then work your way up from there. That's what I did. The one that I bought today seems to be a pretty good deal, but it doesn't have The Roof!!! Arrghh! Oh well.

I saw the Clubman at the Detroit Auto Show two weeks ago and I have to say, it if effen HOT! Didn't like it at first from the pix, but in person it is something else altogether.

Sweet! My bro has a new Cooper S in the UK he's thinking about bringing home with him next year. (RHD)

RHD? Sweet! Don't know how the Feds will take to that, but he'd better look into the details very closely.

Yep, well I know it's allowed for older vehicles, a few skyline GTR's goin around here with right hand drive... Not sure about brand new though, plus the insurance. That's what's holding him back.

The RHD drive thing isn't a big deal for the gubmit, it's the age of the car. That, and we share the majority of our FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) with the USA, making the importation of a car from the USA MUCH easier, relatively speaking.

Damn, the NS is now SOLD!

My bud and I loaded it to a trailer for the (LONG) trip to Cornwall from Shanty Bay.
