Picked up my GL1000 front end. Did a mock up on my lester.

Here I am a ghost from the past. Its been 3.5 years since I posted last. Lots of water under the bridge. Putting that aside, I have forgot how to post? I'm replying to my own post above, is that allowed? I have done some stuff on another site but thought to update this one as well. I'll try to bring things up to date in a chronological manor best I can. I've read some of the other postings of late here and well seems a bit petty for the most part. A thread, as best I can recollect was started remarking about some of the behavior, attitudes, remarks towards other members and the moderator was trying to point out that's not what this site is all about? Am I right there is a thread where people can be stupid or brilliant what ever they wish within reason and in accordance with the signed agreements to be a member of this forum. That would seem to be the appropriate place to voice your concerns, schools out time to be grown ups. I'm just saying! We all love machines and motorcycling so lets be friends and enjoy and help each other out. I was somewhat dismayed to see this was not a specific Café Racer site as is advertised but if a majority feels ok with it so am I. I'm going along for the ride so lets ride. I like constructive criticism and hope I'll be able to help others as well. What I wont do is respond to argumentative, juvenile, bullying, or general negativity. At my age time is getting really short so I intend to move forward best I can. And with that Its great to read you all again.

June 02, 2013, 11:38:27 PM Began to fab up a plate to mount my gauges on, as I will be using the front end of a GL1000 which is a perfect fit to the CB excepting the gauge
mounts, wanted to stay with the CB equipment.
