1978 CB750 F- Cafe Racer:
Tons of cafe style- F model tank is longer for a more stretched out look. Custom knee indents in the tank. The gold script on the tank is hand painted by an artist in Tennessee. The rear fender is a custom built steel piece with LED taillight frenched in (the LED light is super bright and set up to stoke as you apply the brake for better visibility). Bobed front fender. Custom seat, clubman bars, side mount license plate, cafe style mirror. Headlight lowered using chrome mounts to clean up the front end. I also switched to a single small speedometer to clean up the dash. The frame was stripped completely, all extra tabs removed and custom tail section added, then shot in DuPont base/clear.
Specs:
New Dunlop 404 tires front and rear
New brake pads front and rear (dual disk on the front and single disk rear)
Rebuilt calipers all the way around
Stainless braided brake lines
Radial master cylinder off 2002 GSXR
Forks rebuilt with new seal
New rear shocks
All wiring has been gone through and cleaned up or replaced
New miniature signals
New Speedometer
New 530 chain conversion
New clutch and throttle cables
New brake levers
New battery
New grips
New classic cafe style bar end mirror
Tanks stripped inside and sealed
Stainless 4-into-1 pipe with shorty exhaust tip
Motor only has 17K miles
Carbs switched to a '76 set (easier to tune and cheaper parts)
Jetted with new stainless pod filters
The bike has less than 20 miles since being built- I built it when I was living in Tennessee then moved to NJ for school. The bike has sat for a year since I've been in school- have not even had a chance to ride it so the carbs may need to be cleaned, it runs but these vintage bikes don't like sit.
I have a clear title in hand.
I need to sell to help cover school cost for next year, plus I just don't have time to enjoy it while in school.
