1978 CB750k full throttle bog

I recently bought a 1978 cb750k that runs perfectly fine until you go full throttle. If you roll onto the throttle easy and go full throttle from there its normal, but when you go full throttle while revving, or in any gear immediately it bogs down and wants to die. I have pods with 110 mains 42 slows and my mixture screws are at 1/4 turns out. I've tried setting mixture screws to 1 or 1.5 turns and it doesnt seem to do anything but make it worse. I cant seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong at this point. Also, I've cleaned the carbs out completely and made sure all the passages and such things are cleared out. I also taped up my pods to add some restriction to the airflow and that seemed to help a lot, and now it doesn't bog down as much when you go full throttle, yet it still does bog. I'm very new to this stuff so anything will help thanks.

I had the same sort of problem. I had a vacuum leak around the rubber boots for the carbs. You can check by spraying carb cleaner at the base of each carb where the rubber boot connects. If the bike revs up then you have a leak Due to old rubbers or not connected well. Also check your timing with a timing light.
