1978 Honda CB550K Chrome Exhaust 4-4

These pipes are in good shape but there are some scratches and small dents. If you shake them the insides rattle a bit, too. The chrome is in good condition but one pipe has three holes on the hidden side of the pipes. There's also some rust on some areas of the hidden side as well. See pictures.

I've seen pristine ones on eBay going for $1000 but these are not pristine. When you message me give me your zip so I can figure out shipping. I'm in CT 06468.

I'm going to be putting them on eBay tomorrow unless someone gives me a good offer. Check out my other post for more 550 parts.

Can I ask what they sold for? I have a set at least that nice hanging in the rafters.

Whoa! Maybe I need to pull mine down and take some pics!
Did you do auction style or B.I.N.?

I just did buy it now. I don't like to mess with auctions. Haha, I drove around to appliance stores and got a shoot load of cardboard and made a big box. First I wrapped them in a lot of bubble wrap. I wanted to make sure they were safe and sound.

you done good using the recycle cardboard like that
whenever I have something odd shaped all I care about is getting it protected ,it doesn't even need to look like a box at all as long as you can wrap the cardboard as a final layer
and sometimes not having it in an actual "box", but minimal as possible ,keeps the dimensions out of the "ok fuck you" zone where the rates skyrocket :)

Exactly. This box oddly looked like a coffin. I told the USPS lady the person inside isn't dead so put some fragile stickers on it.
