Cool! I'm in to see where this goes

just checked out your build I love the work so far! By the way just throwing this out there, but if you would be so kind as to donate your badass hotrod to the "Madcap needs that thing! organization" you will be mentioned in a nice newsletter and maybe even get a free keyring. ;)

lol I hear that. the only reason I have the time and money to do the bike right now is because I decided to put the other stuff on the back burner for now.

Well its September so for those of us in Utah thst means almost winter, and that's bike building time

I am still waiting on parts to get back from powder coating. going to order bearings and all that jazz this weekend. I am getting ready to paint my motor I was going to use vht do i need to bake the paint on somehow? i feel like the engine would not get hot enough to properly cure the paint.

I would think the paint would have instructions on it as fsr as baking and temps needed. Beyond that I haven't used it so I'm useless....as usual

Okay so heard back from the powder coating place today and the color I want he had to order and well it never showed up so he re-ordered it.
sooo... no parts yet!

I did order all new bearings and retainers. from DCC and Carpy`s I also ordered his retainer wrench. should be here any day now. I also put a coat of clear over my tank and tail to protect the artwork. it was a flat clear so it will still be a dull finish. I will get pics and post them hopefully tomorrow.
now we play the waiting game.

Bearings came in and also here is the tank and seat. After it dried some more it's not as shiny.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. As far as the paint a buddy sprayed his truck this color and had enough left over to do my tank and seat. As of right now i do not know the code but the paint came from ppg. When i get some touch up paint and they scan it i will throw the code on here.

alright spokes got here today and i started lacing the rims.... 8) i got this haha.. okay its a a little more complicated than i thought but its going smooth now once i figured out the correct pattern.
