so i never officaly started a build thread... so her it go's
here is what it looked like when i brought it home. been sitting since 1992, front wheel locked up, no spark, bird shit everywhere, rats nest every where, and a wiring tragity....
before:
tear down.....
some of the wiring no nos
rewiring was kinda fun...really it was...
here is about 1/3 the wiring i cut out i could of weight out close to 2 lbs of wiring after all said and done...
and now kurby lives but it revs around 5k right away...idk why here is a video...
classic cafe. but i might put a mono shock on it... thats really about it.. im not even close to be done it going to be slow but ill keep updates coming as soon as i get more progress done. just got to figure out y carb problem, what kind of light i want, build a seat, and either decide to keep my mid controls or brake down and buy some r1 (or somthing of that nature) and retro fit them to the bike...
hasent really ran enough to tell any color... but it getting tan. so im assuming im good on AF mixture. but my spark is strong. it somthing to do with my throttle arm i know it.... if i push on it really hard the idle settle down but as soon as i let pressure off the bike begins to rev. even if the chock is all the way in.
heres my new headlight set up.
the blue bandana is there to hide the wireing because i dont want to put it in a bag of any kind...
