1979 cb750k frame and cb900f engine

Advice I got from YogiBear: the 900f motor will, the 900c motor will not

And from HoosierDaddy: The 900C has a "hi-low" trans that gives gives you city and highway selection, if that makes sense... think of 10 speeds (or two 5's).

I've been looking for a thread as well, no luck. Not sure if anyone has tried it. I may if I find one.

I'm pretty sure the 900f will fit a 750K or 750f frame but you wont be able to use the rubber mounts.

Make it fit. That's what its all about. Not everything comes in a kit. We have brain cells to figure it out.

I've been debating that idea ever since I painted my tank...many lives were lost...

I bought a chunk of 6" x 24" x 1/2" steel this morning. Its going to become the mounting for a new sidecar wheel I'm making. The sidecar wheel is a 10" x 2 1/2" piece of alloy. It will be machined into a wheel as soon as I can get in front of a friends lathe. I don't have a lathe. The steel will will be cut and welded into the mounting.

Same with the the engine swap. Get what material you need and start cutting and shaping until its what you want. And suddenly the engine will be in the frame and running. Its just me but I hate (with a passion) having to depend on people to do things for me.

my 900 came with a 750 motor in it after a rod let go. I never ran it like that though. I got another 900 motor to throw in there. I think exhausts and many/all cycle parts are the same.

I kind off figure that the rubber mounts would not go!
