1979 Honda CB400T tracker- new name "Grey Bike"

Amazing how these bikes keep coming up and the things people are doing with them. This was my first bike and in so many words I was told it was garbage from quite a few folks (not necessarily on DTT). So good to see that people are really adopting them.

Paint really looks killer.

After a break, back to work on the bike. I made it over to my brother's to work on the seat. As mentioned earlier in the thread, my brother has an awesome industrial strength sewing shop. I am going to post a more detailed account of doing this seat in the Seat and Tank area later on tonight. Here is the result for now. It still needs a final stretching, but I think you will get the idea. (BTW, the tank still isn't completely finished. It still needs pin striping and final clear. The bike is also looking a bit dirty from just sitting around with no attention being paid to it)

Looking nice, man! Good update. Love how clean the cockpit is looking. You planning on putting much more up there?

Bookmarked! Great build. Not sure about the tank color, but I love the rest of the bike. The grey and white look awesome!

Thanks everyone.

The only additions will be white faced mini gauges and the ignition switch. They will be set as low as possible. What has really helped clean up that area is going to smaller switch gear and running the wiring through the bars.
