I think I'm doing this wrong. I am testing the points. I have my timing light connected to the negative wire from the battery and the other end it connected to the right side point. When I turn the cam counter clockwise to reach top dead center as it is marked, the light doesn't go out at any point in the rotation. Am I doing something wrong here?
Oh and on the points where I have the 12v indication light connected when the bike is off the light is on but when I turn it to "on" the light goes out.... any ideas?
