1980 CB400T Tank Swap

Hey all! I've done some searching and can't seem to find an answer. I really tried to keep my stock tank but just can't do it. Curious if a 1978 CB400 tank will bolt right onto my 1980. If not, any insights you have for easy swaps would be MUCH appreciated.

Yes, the 78 tank will bolt right onto your 1980. I did the exact same thing last month, no problem. The 78 is shorter so you will just need to take off the tank mount extension, on the frame, then it will bolt right up perfectly.
