Very, nice job. I especially like the rear cowl cover. I hope mine looks as good in a few months. The gauges are from dcc right? Were they difficult to hook up? I am thinking of using them, I like the ability to use the factory cables.

Very nice seat! Did you do it yourself? Have any build pics of the seat process? I like the way it blended into the old sidecover grommet hole on the tank. I'm doing an 81' and might "borrow" that idea....

The gauges are from Parts N More, http://www.partsnmore.com/
They connected with the OEM cables and were a breeze to install.

Yes, I did the seat myself. I either needed to cut off the grommet section from the tank or blend the seat into it.
The seat was a lot of bondo/sand/bondo/sand. Also when you think you are done, spray the seat with a light coat of primer. Just when you think the seat is looking good, this will reveal all of your pinholes and flaws. Sand off the primer and you will see the high and low spots. When you sand always use a small block.

Sorry, I dont have many detail pics, but I built it the same way that I did for my XS 400 seat.

Damn, nice job! I really like the indicator lights and the fact that you tied the tank into the seat instead of just leaving the tank tabs just hanging there like is done so often.

Wow.. this build looks AWESOME!! I hope to get my 80' CB750F this badass. Just sent the carbs out to get rebuilt/cleaned up. Want to get it running nicely for a bit before I really tear into. But very nicely done. I may be contacting you with some questions, if you don't mind. :)
