No kidding man, as we were shedding parts to prep i realized that was all that was supporting the rear, so we couldnt pull it off. I think it would look cleaner if we just did away with it all together. Someone convince me that is or isn't a good plan

sweet! it's nice to see another cb400t! these were sold as cb400n in the UK and that's what i'm building into my bobber. i like the cut seat cowl. that was my old plan with it, has alot of potential, especially with the side covers thrown on
