1980 Suzuki GS250T NYC AREA $400 OBO *RUNNING*1/2 Title*

I bought this bike last year from a guy in CT, the bike usually runs great, sometimes it hesitates under throttle (Carbs need to be cleaned!). Other than that, the bike is in pretty good shape, you can tell its been dropped...some scraps here and there, dent in the tank, ripped seat, but the bike itself runs GREAT. Starts every time. It has about 25,000 miles and a crap load of spare parts.
-Tank
-Seat
-Gauge Cluster
-A bunch of gaskets
-Front Brake Pads
-New front tire (un-mounted)
-Hanes Manual
-Sissy Bar/Rack

Anyway, the bike has been a lot of fun, I've been riding it around but need to get rid of it...just got another bike. The title situation is very stupid. I lost the old one and I have the following from the previous owner....
-Copy of Official Registartion
-Bill of Sale
-Copy Records Request Form (j23)

With those 3 items, I'm told that you can register the bike in NY. I haven't tried because I just haven't got around to it...as I still ride the bike around town.

That is a pretty cool little bike. Did you have the title in your name before it was lost? Could just apply for a lost title then.

I did. It got thrown out by accident!!! Ugh. Very pissed.

You could also apply for a new title....I had a long talk with the NYDMV and they said I have all the documents to register it, they'll probably just give me a hard time at the DMV.
