1980 Yamaha SR500

Hey guys, i wanted to see if there is anyone interested in a 1980 SR500. I really like it but i have my sights set on something else at the moment and i can't have two bikes. It has 11k miles on it, runs well and looks damn good for its age. Changes made are an eliminated battery, lower handlebars, K&N pod filter, and a Supertrapp exhaust. It will definitely need new tires and the petcock is leaky, but other than that it is a joy to ride. No dents, a couple scratches but you can't really tell. I'm asking $1500 firm.

Okay, let me see what I can do, wish I didn't have to buy x-mas gifts or else I'd buy that bike. No problem at least you got back to me I've been looking for an SR500 for a long time now. I'll keep in touch hopefully in Jan. I'll be able to take this bike off your hands.

yeah i had been looking for a while too and its a cool bike but i've got stuff to pay for :-\ but yeah let me know, i won't sell it during the winter cuz people around here don't seem to appreciate these bikes.
