I'm a newbie to the Cafe/brat style scene as well as building my own bike but I had a friend give me a 1981 CB750 thats in a million pieces. After picking up all the parts the only thing missing is exhaust, springs, and carbs. Any suggestions on where to start?

Let me know about exhaust.
I have a couple of good deals.
One is an original Vance & Hines 4 into 1.
The other is currently on the bike but only has about 25 actual miles on it and that is a Mac 4 into 1 Ceramic Coated Black.

cklamer - sent ya a pm. Anything would be helpful. Does anyone know if Harley Sportster shock/springs work on this body style CB.

Just messing around put some old R6 rims on to see what it looks like. YAY or NAY? Got the factory rims too.

Welcome to the superior DOHC club. Just make sure the modern wheels and rubber (they should) fit onto your swinger and you're set -- just have to machine some custom axles. Goodluck on your build! I'm sub'd 8)

Try searching CB1100F.net for parts.

Got the frame painted and cut the rear section. Going to get hoop welded and repaint. Still got alot of work to do.
