1981 CM400T carb swap?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find a thread with an answer.. In any event, what carbs if any are interchangeable with the CM400T?? Something that can be re-jetted, etc.. The Keihin CV's on my bike are non-adjustable and a nightmare to shim or the like.. Thanks in advance!!

I'm no expert on Hondas but I'd imagine Mikuni VM carbs should be available in the right size.

I guess I should've been more specific.. I was wondering if there were a set of carbs from another model bike that could essentially bolt on.. I know Mikuni has VM 30's that would work but I'm trying to avoid spending $350+ on a new set of.carbs.

The CB/CM 400/450 engine family uses 3 different Keihin VB carbs. 1978/79 are VB21's w/32mm venturi, 1980-86 are VB22's w/30mm venturi. The "A" automatics use VB24's w/28mm venturi

All depends on what you got to play around

A guy at work has a harley he built, and he uses a single carb from some old 400+cc dirtbike, runs excellent ???

If time is money for you, I'd suggest mikuni carbs
