What will be eliminated from electrical system with the "m-unit" and "m-button"?

This is the wiring diagram I believe I will be using.

This is the wiring diagram for my motorcycle.

I thought this eliminated a lot of bulk from the electrical system, but this doesn't seem to eliminate anything but a few wires and some fuses. Please correct me here...

Well, the lights and signals need the wires from the M-unit to the lights, but with the M=switch, you only need one wire going up to the handlebar switches. It also reduces the length of all the wires. For instance, your headlight wiring. The headlight wires go from the bucket to under the tank, than up through the handlebars to the control pod. With the m unit, the head light wires go from the bucket to the m-unit, same with signals and running lights....

So less wires to the handlebars, and all the wires get a shorter, neater path. About as neat as you can get and retain all functions...

That's actually with the M-Button. The M-Switch is a two button handlebar mounted switch assembly

Well I just haven't gotten around to ordering my M-Button in my case haha
