Hey guys glad to be a part of the form just want to say hello as a new member my name is Morgan this is my first bike I've always wanted one but finally when I hit the 30 market had my first kid it was time....lol
Picked her up last weekend for 900 and running all electrical working with just a dent in the tank (seemed fair) the first picture is the first day the second picture is the second day and the third is my inspiration to where I want to take this bike
So what are my options with the pipes? On the one hand they sound loud but good the turnouts are decent and the crap weld can be covered with exhaust wrap.
There is a bolt with a hole right before the chrome. I will post better pictures in the am.
Part of me says get a 2 to 1 or just some used decent condition ones off ebay and sandblast the chrome or maybe paint black and wrap headers. Any opinions?

Hi man, just place some pictures of the pipes. If they are really crappy, you'd be better off with some better ones to start with. Crappy weld can indeed be masked with wrap, but remember crappy welds are also holding your bike back on the inside... Not a nice flow.
Normally a set of Megatons would do the trick. 2-1 or 2-2 is both a good option. Just figure out what you like best! It's your bike
Side note, does anyone know how to get the crazy plastic smell from this Grand Prix bubble shield, aired it out all last night thinking hot water and soap.
So my tank is dented, but I have this tank from a CL175 I also have the rear fender what do you guys think , I tried holding it up.
I have never changed a tank but it seems like it wouldn't be crazy difficult.
