I haven't owned a gas powered anything in over 7 years (last rig was a lifted, caged, and de-roofed Jeep Cherokee) and have been happily bicycle commuting and racing. Well, the motorcycle bug bite me when my buddy picked up a Honda CB400A for 100 bucks and we got it running in an evening. I got on the hunt and found a smoking deal on an 1982 Yamaha XS400 Seca, so I bought it. It needed only minor work to get it running (carb rebuild) but, well, to say the least was cosmetically challenged. It had been dropped so a there was some damage to the muffler, tank, and a few of the panels. But for the price I couldn't pass it up. I loved the tank style but all the plastic and overall squareness just weren't doing it for me. I set off to work and this is what's happened so far--
How I picked it up
What came off of it (also if you see anything that you want PM me and for the cost of shipping it is yours)
Where it is now
Hopefully I'll run into loads of cash and be able to do everything that I want but I think it'll just slowly evolve from here. Tell me what you think
