1983 Suzuki GS1100E

So i am new here. Here is my project it is an 83 suzuki gs1100e, it is headed to be a cafe/fighter. So without further ado, i will shut it and show some pics of what i am starting with.

The mirrors, blinkers and front fairing have already been removed. I am keeping the fairing, cause i oddly like it. Even with the lens painted over, but it will come in handy when i decide to go on long distance runs. I spun and flipped the handle bars to get them lower and see if i want to get different bars or get clip-ons. Haven't decided quite yet though.

Pics of things pulled off next time i am on.

As a side note, i am looking for the stock 4 into 2 pipes and a center stand. I hate the current exhaust and i love the symmetry of the 2 pipes. Just seems right to me, feel free to bash on me for wanting weight.

Offer up that exhaust for trade on the GSResources - I bet you get a couple bites.

And isn't that quarter fairing from Maier? If so, they may have a replacement screen.

Hey big rich, the quarter fairing is from Shoei.

I actually like having the screen painted over, but i agree i could possibly get a replacement if need be.

Thanks for the tip, i found GSR a couple days back, but completely forgot about it.

So had some time between my 2 jobs to get out and strip some things off the bike.
So here is the current state of the bike with the handle bar spun and flipped(not staying that way-just looking for where i want the height), mirrors removed, and the blinkers stripped away. Anyway, i will shut it and show ya.
