1984 Honda Magna almost ready to bastardize

So today I test rode an 84 magna, I stil haven't bought it yet, but I'm pretty tempted, price is a little lower than 1400 bucks.
The bike hauls some serious ass.

But there are some things I would change like the ugly ass instrument panel, drop the front and change the handlebars for something lower, and also the seat.

So here's the beast:

Should I get it?

It also needs a tuneup.

Magnas Scream... would be a hoot to have one handling more sport bikeish but not be an interceptor (Which is a cool bike)...

That's a good looking sporty too...
