My thought exactly. What the fuuuuuck is going on in that picture. I hope its not what it looks like.

4 mechanics.. told me.. that my engine, is the most complicated situation they've all ever heard of.
More-so than every completely rusted out piece of machine, than they've seen, ever.
He damaged nothing, but an old bolt, and an already-needing-replacement case.

He did what I paid $30 for.

Besides, I have a contingency plan.

To be honest I wouldn't have expected too much more from a guy that wields an unguarded angle grinder without gloves or eye protection ::)

When did that happen?

That reminds me... I host a yearly ride called the MonkeyButt 500. Last year I broke a footpeg (I broke another one this year, but that's a different story.) I found a welding shop in BFE Colorado who would weld it up for me. This is the protective gear he used.

It happened Tuesday, referred me to Ready Honda on Dundas n'Dixie.
Need to pick up some new parts, so it's time to start 'scrounging n'saving'
I mean, what's the difference? I ain'got no money to start..
.. surprised I even'ave this project to begin with.

Nice.. sandpaper eyes galore, ladies n'gentleman! Whatever works, I guess.
The guy I had do what I needed, did what I needed.

Are you sure you didn't grab that pic off Failblog?? ;D

Now I know what to use my old Crocs for ::)

Got me a job now, able to continue my project for the next season; starting work on my bike soon.

Might use that idea for the battery mount, similar to my model.. this a year later ('85) H.Rebel.

Thinking of the similar color theme here, black everything with silver accent, though; I want it stained black.
Doing all the work myself though, going full into this.

Still working on the bike, haven't dropped it, job is starting to pay out now, so I'm going to swap out the piston rings and pistons, engine casing and the rest will come later, but my priority is having the thing run again. Anyone know where I can get the casing for the 83 or 84 GR650 Tempter (relatively cheap, I've got a budget)?

Thanks!
