thats what i call knee sliding
saucer said:yup it was strange alright,
it felt like a stone being skipped across water, except i came to a screeching halt in the back of druro's bike, better than the back of a car, or the interection,i had dumped most of the speed, but needed another 5 feet,
a combination of bumpy road, cold tires, and shitty brakes, i had 20 feet to stop, and it skidded most of that way, i was pumping the brakes, and had time to realize i was going to end up crashing,
thanks to all for sticking around, druro for being the crash barrier and fixing my clipons, noel for going home for the tools, jackie for the bolt of her bike,
one bloody knee and a bent fender not so bad, luckily both bikes involved are proud rats,

oh wow you guys. sorry to hear about last week's mishap. glad to hear no one nor nothing was seriously injured. egos are repairable and so are bikes!
i think i am done riding for the season. cold tires, cold pavement and my delicate body can't handle this cold weather!
