Holy crap, I didn't get home until 1am! I figured I'd take the QEW to speed up my trip - yeah right I got stuck in some construction traffic for over an hour. Why the f@#% wouldn't they just shut the highway down as opposed to having just 1 lane open and all of the exits closed? The cops were positioned to burn people driving on the shoulder. The bike was cooking so I had to shut it off and push it as the traffic moved a couple of feet at a time. I must have walked the entire length of Oakville and sweat out 4 gallons of fluid To keep from going postal I fired the bike up and rode between the lanes until the road cleared. So now I'm soaking wet and freezing and to top it off, Guelph line, my route north is all torn to shit and gravel so I had to take an alternate goat path north full critters determined to become buzzard food Now I'm having a cold beer - all is good

I got my new chrome tank (thanks Noel!) and clubmans etc all on the bike by 6:00 yesterday and was all set to ride into townthen......flat battery. Next week I am there.
