2008 THURSDAY Night @ Tims Hortons... Leslie & Lakeshore

HOLY SHIT!!.. What an adventrous night!!...

So besides 11 of us, (Yuri, Love Hertz, Tony, Fugue, Gillian, ButterflyMETH, VerseFool, Vinnie & the gorgeous Ms.Vinnie, DjLing & Myself), racing through Toronto Streets to The St.Louis BBQ & Grill at 9pm, while harasssing some hot chick rider on a bike, along the way...

Besides trying to survive the Suicide Death Wings at St Louis...

Besides racing over to the Epicure Cafe on queen st about 10:30pm... (Where Adam joins us...)
Besides racing to my place 2 hrs later, (to swap bikes)...
Besides having everyone accompanying me at 12am, as I do my "walk of shame", as bike # 2 fails three blocks from my place :mad:,...
Besides FINALLY racing over to The Caddilac Lounge only to find out that the band we wanted to see was all done...
Besides hanging out on the street infront of the Caddliac Lounge & harrassing Taxi Cabs for an hour wondering WTF to do next...LOL...

Besdes finally deciding to go to the Paradise Club... only to find it closing in an hour at 1:30...
Besides making it to Ciro Coffe house for 3 cups of coffee at 2:00am....
Besides stumbling into some 24hr Korean restaurant at 3:00am to eat and make fun of the restaruant patrons for an hour and a half,...

The biggest misadventure had to be seeing Vinne taking a dive in front of all the squids & posers and taking one for the team!!..

What a sight!!!... My bike freaking bike wouldnt start in the Tims Parking lot... Vinnie and Lee decide to bump start it...
Vinnie pushing the bike hard to give it momentum while Lee sits on the bike getting ready to bump start it...... The bike Fires up like a champ, and Lee rides off....OH SHIT!!.... Vinnie forgets to let go of the bike!!!!......

Vinnie takes a massive "Stuntman" fall, as he gets yanked... rolling aross the parking lot for about 10 feet in front of all the posers & squids,... Then he Jumps right up... both hands in the air...jumping around like Rocky Balboa!!!..

BHAHAH!!.. man!!... there was a lot of toasting to Vinnie that night!!..

Well.. Considering there is snow forcasted for next week and the temp is suppose to be plunging down into the negative digits, I think last might actually be the last meet of the season..(I hope not).. well certainly partied like it was!!...

It was really great seeing everyone come out!!...
 
definitely a fun night! great meeting up again with the old faces and hanging out with the new faces! thanks for making, probably my last time out on the bike this year, such a good one!

ended up riding around for a bit before heading home and how awesome was that! no traffic, clear sky and the roads all to myself.

too bad i missed out on korean food. i didn't get to bed til around 5am or so. those 2 americanos sure kept me up and wired ;)
 
well...........i had a boombastic night to remember. taking a superduper dive tuck and roll move in front of all those people for the team (..pretty smooth... eh) and making all that rukus getting to st louis for wings, then going for desert . and too bad there were no bands playing at cadillac lounge. other then that me and my girl had a super time with yall. to bad my eyes were getting heavy and i split. it sounds like you guys had fun staying out late.
 
I messed up by not going. I was rehearsing until 12 and thought it would be too late to call you. Man....
 
Wow!! That was such a memorable night from the beginning. Push start...oh man. Only if we had a video clip...
Thank you guys all for a great night. Who knows, it might not be the LAST...I'll hope for another night like that before snow gets. Noel, I hope your bikes are ok...well, we still gotta love old bikes man...
Druro, have a great time at ACE. Don't forget to check the seaboot socks!
 
I was out till 3:30 riding but couldn't find anyone
(Then again i've been to busy laying people off at work to check the board)

Text Tony about 1 but figured he'd be home sleeping so just farted around on my buddys BSA while he rode the Honda (Right shift has a pretty steep learning curve)

That's what I get for working...I missed wings!!!

Last weds, I went with the scoot crew to the orig. St. Louis at Yonge/Davisville and they let us park in front of the entrance, beside the patio.

Hope next thurs is nice. Been missing out on great riding weather!

Yep.. Bike 1 problem is an internal leak in the carbs.... I just bought a new carb rebuild kit
Bike 2 problem: there seems to have been an air bubble in the left fuel line!!...so the left carb would not fire up after the gas in the bowl was used up!!..Thats all fixed up now!!

Sorry we missed you Mr.CrabCakes!!.. you should have called me!!..

Have to add my kudos to all involved that night. I had a blast. Vinnie, I hope you won't hold that bump start against me. You've contributed admirably to the local ton-up lore. Keep on Tuckin. Aces. Yeah fun stuff to be sure. Weather was sweet, the conversation stimulating, plenty of noise and not so much as a speeding ticket.

yup i had a blast that night, nothing like ridng with 11 bikes around downtown, a little bike trouble just makes it a little more special, next thursday my wife and the kids are staying overnight at the grandparents,

Hey! I never said to treat everyone. Only if I'm that rich. Well, Nami is definitely delicious for seafood lovers. I'd love to go anytime.
Just keep warm your wallet. Good food is not cheap....as Tony says..
Natto? It's my everyday breakfast. Extremely healthy fermented soy beans, but I'm not sure how many of you can handle the smell and texture...they have that at Nami as well.

i've only tried natto once and didn't like it.. but i would try it again because maybe my tastes have matured over the years..... it's just sooooo goooopy. mmm nami sounds so good..
hey over the winter, my buddy has a 60" tv he doesn't mind sharing in watching movies!!! lives next to high park too so maybe it's a good place to try our "winter bikes" heheheh
