Yeah, it can't rain!!!

Some idiot backed up her car and hit my bike that was parked on the street :mad:
It runs fine, but looks like some big scratches on the headlight, turn signal, mirror and clutch lever, big bent on the kick stand and little dent on the tank. She doesn't want to use her insurance because it is already high. She said she will pay whatever it costs. She thinks that it is going to be a couple hundred dollars...I think the labour it self is already a couple hundred dollars....
Do you guys think I should get professional look at it?

Take it to Tom at CycleWERX to get a written quote and get a wtitten quote from Tony.
Show her both quotes.. She thinks it a couple hundred dollars..fuck that...what the hell does she know?
Popping that dent in the tank alone is a few hundres dollars.. Tell her the original cost of the tank to begin with...Tell her to replace it.

Tell her that the cost is to high and you want to go through insurance....

shit that sucks, make sure you know where she lives,in my experience, they'll forget to pay once the event has past , then you'll have to chase them around town, show up at their work ect.... i'd get an estimate from a shop, then get it resolved asap, the sooner the better,

i'm at the garage putting my bike back together, also getting the black bike back today,450 party in the garage,it doesn't look like rain tonight, just cloudy,

of course this wk the weather forcasts rain only on thurs.. why must they do that??
well most likely it won't rain.. but if it does, it'll be warm rain.. so we should ride anyway right?

it is also lil beast's birthday on sunday.. so let's celebrate it this thurs.

any ideas?

went for a ride up around bridal path.. pretty neat to see all the mansions... thinking it might be an interesting ride...
if it rains we'll go for pints. etc etc
 
I know, it's almost funny that only Thursday night is going to rain this week on the forecast...
Not gonna rain though. Kristin's mom will be in town so I may join you guys later that night. I'm planning to work on Kristin's bike at the garage in the afternoon though.

yeah every wk for the past month have had forecast rain... comon weather...........

i might be getting my new TV tomorrow so might not come out. ;) well i might come out later. hehe

well, i did ride today to work so i am getting my share of rain pelting me in my face (yeah i shouldn't have worn the halfhelmet.. but who wears full face with scooters anyway??)

i think it'll clear up tonight. but later tonight. i guess we'll see how the weather plays out... plus, getting a little wet is fun sometimes :)

we all have each other's numbers so we'll keep in touch.

and my tv did come in so i won't be able to come out until after 8 anyway. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. you're all welcome to come over and bask in its glory hah
