I'm gearing up and probably swinging out to BMW Toronto to pick up a couple advance springs for my ignition. Nice temp out now and rush hour is gone. Its 6:40PM so I'm probably gonna be there around 7:15 or so. If anyone's riding I'll be buzzing around - shoot me a txt.

So it was a nice ride last night, lil beast's bday ride night.
we had: lil beast, manhands mike m, tony, vinnie, harp, tim, dr j, skimeister, and i...
-went to Duff's for wings and drinks for Paul's bday
-rode through the gaybourhood (church) and through mount pleasant to bridal path
-then rode through dr j's "makeout route" in edwards park.
-then we were on our way to dutch dreams at st clair/bathurst...
and tim dumped his bike and ate the streetcar trks at st clair. his beemer was spinning and sparking everywhere... i only saw it in my mirror.. so someone has to describe it better...
he was a little shaken but seemed ok after a bitch ride on the back of my scooter and some ice cream.
overall very adventurous!

I'm sore but mostly embarrassd. 100% user error.
My left side is banged up good from the ribs down to my foot. Hip took most of it. Can't move very well and may go for x-ray. Very very swollen.
Helmet is toast. Holes through my jacket. Bike slid 60 feet or so.
Left signals are shot, clutch perch broken, road rash in spots. No damage to tank which is good. Will have a look at the wheels to confirm their condition.
Swerved into a concrete curb about 12 inches high and wide that seperates the cars from streetcars. Meant to keep cars on one side - a barrier really. I landed hard on it and the bike got over. We both ended up in the streetcar lane.
Thanks to tony and Paul for loading up the bike and getting me home. Jacqueline has a fast fast scooter. Almost fell off the back which would have been hilarious.

Wearing my Shoei RF-1000, which will most likely be replaced with the same helmet. Worked perfectly
Feeling a little looser this morning - spent the last 14 hours in bed with ice, painkillers and a remote control.
The bike is up in Georgetown at Dave's place - going to see it later today and will snap some pics. It looks remarkably good considering what I made it do.

as the instructor told me recently... if you were to get into an accident, somehow eject upwards straight into the sky, and then do a 180 degree turn so that you land on the top of your head... then the halfsies work.
i'm sure to a certain amount.. but your jaw will prob be broken...
at least you'll look super cool before the accident. i still wear my halfies cause i got TO heat beat!
