Anyone Got any experience making clip ons?

I'm thinking of having a go myself but im not sure where to start seeing as i cant get with a small enough fork tube diameter!

Or if anyone happens to have any 27mm clip ons lying around (i highly doubt it) please get in touch with me, although i am in the UK so bare that in mind too !

Cheers for your time guys,
Tom.

There's these out of Hong Kong

I've used that exact pair. They are 33mm clipons that are shimmed down to 27mm. They work good.

Forgive my spelling; but I think it's Perrault Performance Products that makes some nice / smaller clip ons. Rick was a great guy to deal with too.

Oh well im gonna see what the quality of the pair ive ordered up now theyre black cnc'd alloy ones from hong kong or somewhere!

Just got to wait for them to come now takes about 2 weeks or so, wont be too long i guess!

cost me £32 english money, i think it equates to around $52.00 including delivery which sounded quite friendly to my budget seing as i could only get hold of nasty steel clip ons which i though weren't too nice seeing as they weighed in at £70.00 or $112.00

Shocking for steel clip ons i thought!

Thanks for your help guys its much appreciated!!! ;D

If those don't work out for you, there are some very nice 28mm clip ons on 1977mopeds.com . I'm sure it's better to shim 1mm than 5 or 6mm.

They weren't too bad until I crashed a couple times...

resulted in a couple of sheared pinch bolts but besides that they really are hreat for the money, cant fault £27 for them,

light weight too!
