3 year Velocette rebuild

Finally, I mad a few modifications to some other bits & bobs...A re-designed gear shift, so my big feet dont keep melting on the exhaust. A tool kit carrying box, so the tools dont fall out each time I open the tool box up, I had to re-solder the bottom fork sliders together to stop them leaking, and make a "dohicky" to protect the end of the Kickstart rubber...all good fun!

That's quite a journey. Thanks for sharing. It's been a long time since I talked to anyone who owns a Velo.

Singles are a different sort of fun. I had a 350 Goldie for a while and that was a PIA around town and the GP was beautiful but also a PIA, but so sweet to ride "fast" around Scottish country roads. Not necessarily fast by GSXR/CBR etc standards, but really satisfying to ride.
