nice rear set idea! how did you do the other side??

is the shifting the same?

I did the brake like most other people, still working out the bugs. I will get a pic up soon.

Shift pattern is inverted (gp) I am going to make linkage someday, that was just the fast and easy solution.

Still have some tuning with the VM34's but they are working pretty good right now, think the needle needs to come up one more notch.[/tt][/tt]

Re: CL350, almost there

Good looking scoot. I like your pipes. Hell I even like the dent in the tank. Gives it character. In the photos the chain looks a little loose. Overall a Nice and clean looking bike

Re: CL350, almost there

Chain was a little loose and rusty, didn't have air filters that day yet.
I will get a couple new pics up soon I hope.

Thanks for the comments.

Re: CL350, almost there

Replace that chain before it snaps off and hits you in the ass! Seriously though, I'd do it a.s.a.p., it's a cheap price to pay to save you from later potential headaches.

Re: CL350, almost there

Been away for awhile but kept up with the site. (side covers are off while tuning)

What taillight is that???

I took the stock light and took out the stock lens and replaced it with this one. Found it at a friends house in his old swap meet parts. It is a Unity light from the 50's, I had never seen one with the clear stripe on it and knew I had to have it. ;D

I did talk to a guy, I just need to ride down to his shop. Maybe tomorrow.
I don't want to paint it, I love the way it is faded and how there are wear marks on the stripes.

Don't paint the tank!!! Dude, +1 on the paintless guys... I am all about doing my own bodywork, and fixing things myself, and general DIY stuff. But a couple years ago I hit my Lexus with side-by-side (mule.) I hit the bumper and as you know with all new lexuses, it is all painted plastic. They guy from paintless said it wouldn't be an issue, plastic or metal he could get the dent out. I thought it was a pretty bad dent... about the size of a grapefruit and about 2 or 3 inches deep.

Anyway the guy from paintless came out fixed it at my work, and it only cost $100... you can't even tell anything happened. I highly recommend those guys! I bet your dent would be less than 50.

On a side note, I love the light.. did you paint the yellow or is it a protector? I was gonna do a yellow with clear through the center as well, Looks sharp!

Not sure how the yellow on the light is put on there. It is not tellow glass and it is from the 50's or 60's. This is what it looked like when I got it before removing the glass lens and transplanting it to the honda headlight assy.
